Upcoming Youth Events

November 10, 2022

The Diocesan Youth Ministry Office is pleased to announce two events for youth and young adults happening in our Diocese in the coming weeks.

On Sunday, November 20th, we will celebrate World Youth Day at Home. World Youth Day is celebrated annually on the Solemnity of Christ the King. This year we will celebrate with a gathering at MacMillan Hall (in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre) at UPEI. There will be opportunities for fun, prayer, and catechesis. The event will include a keynote address by Sr. Karen Kelly, CND, workshops, and a pilgrimage from UPEI to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for Mass at 5:00pm. For more information on the event, including a schedule of events, please click here. Registration is encouraged, and available here. This event is open to high school students, young adults (up to age 35), and the young at heart.

High school students are invited to attend Leave Everything and Pray (LEAP) Retreats. These retreats are facilitated the Young Adult Leadership Team in four locations across the province (West Prince, East Prince, Queens, and Kings) in November, December, and January. The retreats will include talks and personal testimony, time for prayer, and fun. For more information about the LEAP Retreats, including the dates and times for each location, click here. Registration is encouraged, and can be found here.
