Good afternoon,
My name is Greg Stapleton and I have been a member of the St. Puis X congregation since I was a child. I am reaching out to you today in regards to the recent tragic events in Nova Scotia.
As we are all trying to make sense of such a tragedy, I know we all feel how important it is for most people to call on their faith for strength & guidance during these difficult times. I am included, along with my Wife who is from Nova Scotia.
Today, I am writing to you to ask the Diocese of Prince Edward Island and all its Parishes that have the capabilities of ringing their bells, to join with our Sister province during their Virtual Vigil Friday, April 24th at 6:00 PM and ring the bells 22 times as a sign of love & support for the lives lost and to come together as a larger community.
I greatly appreciate your time and consideration of this and hope that this is something you will believe in like we do.
