On Wednesday, October 12th (the feast day of Blessed Carlo Acutis, the first Millennial saint), the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) released their Pastoral Letter to Young People.
The letter was written after the CCCB engaged in conversation with over 200 young people, aged 12-25, from across Canada. Ten young people from the Diocese of Charlottetown participated in these virtual conversations in October and November 2020. The conversations were hosted and facilitated by representatives of the CCCB and youth ministers from the Atlantic region.
The pastoral letter is intended to inspire young Canadian Catholics to live their faith in extraordinary ways as they strive holiness. The CCCB Office for Evangelization and Catechesis and the Office for Family and Life released a series of other resources in connection with the pastoral letter.
