My name is Zoe Stewart-Bedard and I work at the deVeber Institute for Bioethics and Social Research. We carry out all our work based on the guiding principle of the inherent value and dignity of all human life.
The deVeber Institute will be hosting a three-night lecture series this March entitled “Palliative Care and MAiD” on March 1, 10 and 16th at 8PM (ET) via Zoom. The lecture will address palliative care in the face of MAiD and feature doctors, lawyers, and psychiatrists at the forefront of the conversation.
The topics to be discussed include: dignity conserving care, MAiD and individuals with disabilities, a doctors’ roundtable, and MAiD and mental health. Registration is now open on our website at www.deveber.org.

Additional details about each evening are also available on the website.
We would truly appreciate it if you’re able to include “Palliative Care and MAiD” in your upcoming events calendar.
Best wishes,
Zoe
