Tuesday, June 29 the province announced some changes around masking on their Facebook page that apply to us.
These changes are effective immediately.
Masking
- Masks are no longer mandatory to wear while seated during indoor events like Mass, provided there remains 6 feet of physical distance between individuals of different households.
- Masks are still required when moving around the building (for example: coming into the church, leaving, and while in the communion line).
- Other masking requirements remain the same.
As long as the person is staying in place, they can be standing or kneeling or sitting.
Also to be sure: if the person is singing, he/she must put the mask back on.
