You are invited to the 2025 Jubilee for Families on Sunday, August 10 from 3:30 – 8 pm.
This special event – which will be held on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of Hope Retreat Centre – will include Mass with Bishop Joseph Dabrowski, music, games and lots of fun and uplifting activities for the whole family!
Meet fellow parishioners from across the Island, share in the Eucharistic celebration, and enjoy some good old-fashioned family fun! (When is the last time you were in a three-legged race?)
Activities:
- 3:30 – Rosary
- 4:00 – Mass
- 5:00 – Faith testimony
- 5:30 – Concert, family games, barbeque, picnic time
- 7:45 – Closing prayer
Our Lady of Hope Retreat Centre:
- 67 Reid Road, Breadalbane (Hope River), PE C0A 1E0 – (3 minutes from the Cavendish Boardwalk; 3 minutes from the Stanley Bridge roundabout)
- Washroom facilities will be available inside Our Lady of Hope Retreat Centre.

What to bring:
- Light refreshments (hot dogs) will be provided but you are encouraged to bring a picnic meal for your family, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for your family to sit on.
- Don’t forget your summer essentials (hats, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.).
- The grounds will be uneven so wear appropriate footwear.
Where can we park?
- Parking will be available in nearby designated fields.
- Knights of Columbus members will be on hand to will direct traffic.
- Accessible parking will be available – just ask a Knight!

Is there a cost?
- This is a free family event. Donation boxes will be made available.
This family event is just one of the activities taking place throughout the Diocese of Charlottetown to celebrate the 2025 Jubilee Year – Pilgrims of Hope.
