Dear Fathers,
The recent earthquake in Syria and Turkey has claimed over 36,000 lives. Countless others are injured and in need of medical supplies, food and shelter. The Catholic Bishops of Canada have suggested four Catholic organizations that are in the area and who are able to bring immediate aid to the surviving earthquake victims. They are as follows:
- Aid to the Church in Need (ANC)
2. Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA)
3. Canadian Jesuits International (JCI)
4. Development and Peace – Caritas Canada
Please encourage your parishioners to donate to one of the above-mentioned charities on behalf of the Earthquake survivors who need our assistance.
