In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the arrival of the first Scottish Catholic Settlers on PEI, the 9:00 a.m. Mass on June 26 at St. Bonaventure’s Church in Tracadie Cross will include a Blessing of the Tartans, followed by a Brunch at the Tracadie Community Centre. Owen Connolly

Connolly Estate bursaries are open to residents of PEI who are full-time students enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university. In addition, applicants must demonstrate that they are Roman Catholic, are Irish in heritage and have material financial need (parental income applies if applicant is under 22).   College students who are completing a joint program/degree must be enrolled in the university portion of their studies to be eligible.  Apply at www.owenconnollyestate.com  by end of day August 31st . The on-line application will be available the first of July.   Recent bursaries have been in the range of $2,000/year, though they vary depending on market returns and the number of applicants.  Bursaries are available for a maximum of four years.
