Presentation at The Living Well on marketing fraud: Scams being reported in the media are something we hear too frequently. In this presentation, facilitated by Corporal Gavin Moore, we will learn about the kinds of frauds that come to us mostly through phone calls and e-mail. This presentation will go through some of the most common scams, what are the red flags and what you should do if you are a victim of a fraud. The Canadian Bishops recognize a need to understand more deeply the lived experience within Indigenous communities. In light of this, Emily Spencer will visit the Martha Spirituality Centre on Saturday, October 21 from 2-4 pm to outline the ministry of the Mi’kmaq Family Resource Centre and introduce us to the art of beading.
