Development and Peace asks you to stand in Solidarity with the people of the Global South who are defending their lands, waters, and forests and helping communities experiencing disasters to survive and rebuild, by giving generously to the Share Lent Campaign on Solidarity Sunday, March 26.

Steubenville Atlantic is coming! Talks, friends, fun! Join youth from across the Maritimes at Steubenville Atlantic, a dynamic youth conference hosted at Dalhousie University, July 8-10. This year’s theme is Refuge (Mt 11:28)! Registration is open for youth in grades 9-12. Early bird cost is $200 until March 31. End-of-Life Care: Approaching the end of life can be an emotional time for ourselves and our loved ones. During this session we will discuss core concepts to consider in end-of-life care and our role in accompanying others to a natural death. This free session, facilitated by Sr. Rosemary MacDonald, will be held on Wednesday, April 5th, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at The Living Well in Martha Place at 96 Patterson Drive, Charlottetown. The Art of Conversation: This session will offer an interactive learning approach to develop some simple conversation skills. Participants will explore what gets in the way of conversation and how to address some of the challenges. Ideas will be shared for conversation starters, for listening to encourage conversation and for speaking to be heard. The session, facilitated by Gillian Nichol, will be held on Wednesday, March 29th, 1:30-3:30 at The Living Well, in Martha Place at 96 Patterson Drive, Charlottetown. Silver Rose Pilgrimage for Life: The Knights of Columbus welcomes the whole family to pray the rosary at one of our Silver Rose ceremonies. The ceremonies are in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe – we pray for respect for life and the spiritual renewal of our nation.
