Longing for an Encounter with the Risen Christ? Consider meeting Christ with Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb during a silent retreat from April 28 through 30, 2023. The retreat includes directed meditations, time for personal silent prayer, daily Mass, and opportunities for Confession. Development and Peace-Caritas asks us this Lent to Create Hope for those in the Global South who face hunger, poverty, injustice, natural or human disasters, armed conflict, climate change, etc. By giving generously to D&P-Caritas, “we are the hands and feet of Christ. Chrism Mass

This year’s Mass of Chrism will be celebrated at St. Dunstan’s Basilica on Monday April 3rd at 7 PM.

The Art of Conversation: This session will offer an interactive learning approach to develop some simple conversation skills. Participants will explore what gets in the way of conversation and how to address some of the challenges. Ideas will be shared for conversation starters, for listening to encourage conversation and for speaking to be heard. The session, facilitated by Gillian Nichol, will be held on Wednesday, March 29th, 1:30-3:30 at The Living Well, in Martha Place at 96 Patterson Drive, Charlottetown. PEI Life Association is holding its annual baby bottle campaign, Change4LIFE, from March 1st to April 16th, to promote LIFE on PEI. Join us in helping advance the beauty of LIFE on PEI. Change4LIFE is one of many ways that PEI Life aims to help the most vulnerable on PEI and make changes for LIFE! Upper Room Young Adult Ministry
 is organising a 40 Hour Devotion at St. Dunstan’s on Wednesday March 15th @ 7:30 pm, ending with Mass on Friday March 17th at 9:00 am in Glastonbury Hall for the intentions of our eventual new Bishop. Dr. Joan Campbell, CSM, is offering five Zoom sessions on the Passion of Jesus every Wednesday from March 1 to March 29 (6:45 to 8:00 pm). PEI Indigenous History: Come and learn some of the history of the Mi’kmaq people of PEI with the Island’s former poet laureate Julie Pellisier-Lush. Bishops and Catholic organizations in Canada launch Turkey/Syria Earthquake Emergency Aid Campaign: With the support of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, Aid to Church in Need (ACN), Canadian Jesuits International (CJI), Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) Canada, and Development and Peace-Caritas Canada (DPCC) have launched an emergency aid campaign in response to the destructive earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on February 6.
