There is an enormous need for food, water, shelter, clothing, blankets, first aid supplies, hygiene kits, vehicles and fuel. Development and Peace partners, CARITAS Haiti and the Institut de Technologies et d’Animation (ITECA), are very busy with relief and coordinating efforts under Haiti’s National Risk Management Plan. On the bright side, in the small commune of Cavaillon, 13 of the 14 houses Development Peace built after the 2010 earthquake have withstood the current earthquake.
