We are hiring! St Simon and St Jude Parish in Tignish is looking for a Parish Coordinator of Catechetics and Youth Ministry. Under the general direction of the Pastor, the Parish Coordinator of Catechetics and Youth Ministry is responsible for the planning, implementation, and delivery of the Catechetical Program for the Parish in general and to minister to the spiritual needs of the youth of our Community.
This is a 40-hours a week x 10 months a year position. The candidate should be a fully initiated and practicing Catholic. A degree/certificate and/or experience in catechesis or youth ministry would be an asset. Must provide a Criminal Record Check from the police. A valid driver’s license is required and an automobile will be a condition of employment.
