Wednesday, December 20 Fr. Firmin Dildom took his oath of office before Fr. Chris Sherren, the Chancellor of the Diocese.
Fr. Firmin was assisting at the Advent penitential service in Immaculate Conception church, Richmond.
He’ll replace Fr. Chris as the administrator of St. Philippe et St. Jacques and Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel in January.
He’s from the Central African Republic and arrived in Canada on December 7, 2023.
Fr. Dildom will reside at the rectory in Richmond with Fr. Andrew Handrahan.
