On Thursday 9 May, at 5.30 pm Rome Time, (12:30 PEI Time) on the solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, Pope Francis officially proclaimed the ordinary Jubilee of 2025 with the public reading and delivery of the Bull of Indiction in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.
After the reading of the Bull, the Holy Father preside over Second Vespers of the solemnity inside the Basilica.
The Bull will provide important information about the celebration of the Jubilee and will include reflections on the theme of hope as envisioned by the Pope.
