Upon returning from a meeting of International Eucharistic Congress delegates in Ecuador, Archbishop Dunn was inspired to host a local Eucharistic Congress in the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth.
There has been a practice in the diocese to host an annual Assembly of the People of God; a time to gather a diocesan family to pray, reflect, learn, and celebrate the goodness of God being witnessed across the local Church.
For 2024, the annual diocesan gathering is a Eucharistic Congress.
The focus of this gathering will be on creating an opportunity for the spiritual renewal of the people and parishes of the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth…and beyond.

If you have a spot at the Eucharistic Congress, apparently you have the hottest ticket in town! The registration stands at just over 700 people, and the Diocese is excited to welcome them all to Saint Agnes Catholic Church.
Many have asked if there will be livestreaming the Eucharistic Congress. As we want as many people as possible to experience the Congress, we are offering the below livestreaming schedule.
