1) ALPHA: Curious about Faith? Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Each session has time for connection, a talk, and space to discuss and ask questions. It is not a bible study or a catechism course. It is designed for people without a Church background or for people who wouldn’t describe themselves as Christian. That could include people who have been away from the Church for some time. You’re invited, no matter your background or beliefs. It’s free and there’s no pressure to come back. Mondays from 6pm – 8pm at Stella Maris Parish Centre, commencing September 30 and going until December 9. For more info on how to register, email alpharustico.pe@gmail.com.

2) The 800th Anniversary Feast Day of the Stigmata of St. Francis of Assisi will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Stratford on Tuesday, September 17th at 7 p.m. Presided by Fr. Jim Willick with homily by Fr. Brian MacDougall, hosted by Brother Leo Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order, Montague, celebrating with St. Francis of Assisi Fraternity, Cornwall. Everyone is most welcome. Refreshments to follow in the church hall.
5) Christian Life Program by Couples for Christ: Looking for some light in your life? Come and hear talks on Faith, family and your baptismal calling.
