Martin Carter for a 2-week scripture study on the First Letter of St. John the Apostle, on Wednesday evenings, between 7:00 – 8:15 pm, on November 8th & 15th at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 5 Lowther Drive, Cornwall. 2) Dr. Joan Campbell, CSM, will host Zoom sessions on the biblical values associated with each of the four Advent Wreath candles (hope, love, joy, and peace). 3) A workshop entitled “Living with God in the Day-to-Day” will be held at the Martha Spirituality Centre (45 Great George Street, Charlottetown) on Saturday, November 18 from 10 am to 3 pm. This session explores practical tools that help us grow in relationship with God, self and others. Presenters will be Julia Donahoe-MacDougald, Michelle Mahoney and Roseanne Macdonald, members of the P.E.I. Local of the Atlantic Association of the Spiritual Exercises Apostolate. 4) Awakening to Awe: Do you find your daily life humdrum and ordinary? Choosing to live attentively and gratefully can move us to moments of awe in our everyday lives, changing how we experience life and the world. The presentation, facilitated by Sister Rosemary MacDonald, will explore simple ways that increase and enhance our experience of awe that benefit our health and well-being.
