The Annual Queen Square School Reunion will take place on Friday August 16 at the Murphy Centre (former Basilica Recreation Centre) at 200 Richmond Street in Charlottetown from 4-7 PM. Finger foods and refreshments will be available. Former students and teachers are invited to attend.
The Summer Pipe Organ Concert Series continues: Tignish born soprano Robyn Perry is accompanied by organist Leo Marchildon in a program exploring how the Bells of the Angelus have inspired poets and composers in creating music of mystery and transcendence. Debussy and Vierne are among the composers represented Tuesday August 13 at 7 pm in Tignish at the Church of St. Simon and St. Jude, and then again at St. Dunstan Basilica in Charlottetown on Wednesday August 14 at 1 pm.
