Christian Meditation, the prayer of the heart, opens us to the presence of God in the silence and stillness of the present moment. Book Study with Nancy Murphy and Sister Gemma Dunn. Topic: “Come, Have Breakfast: Meditations on God and the Earth” by Elizabeth A. Johnson. These sessions will be held at the Spirituality Centre on every second Wednesday beginning on Sept 25, then Oct 9, Oct 23, Nov 6, and Nov 20 at 7:00 pm. Women’s Book Study with Lynn Delong: Our book study is re-starting Sept 23, 2024 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm by Zoom and thereafter every fourth Monday of the month (subject to change). We will continue following Joyce Rupp’s book “Return to the Root: Reflections on the Inner Life.” Suggested fee is $15. New participants are welcome. The Annual Pilgrimage to St. Peter’s, Seven Mile Bay in honour of the Canadian Martyrs hosted by the PEI Provincial CWL Council will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 starting at 1030 am. All members and parishioners from across the province are welcome. The Mass collection will go to PEI Life. Hope to see you there!
Young Adult Leadership Team. Are you a young adult (18-25) who wants to meet new people, develop leadership skills, and growing in your faith. The Young Adult Leadership Team travels the diocese leading retreats, and gathers regularly for faith-building and community. The first meeting is an overnight retreat, September 20-21 at the Marguerite Bourgeoys Centre.
