1) Pope Francis has reminded us that Saint Francis of Assisi describes Earth, our common home, as a sister with whom we share our life. On Monday April 22, there will be an Earth Day concert at 7:00 pm in the Chapel at The Mount Continuing Care Community (141 Mount Edward Road, Charlottetown). All are welcome. Freewill offerings to support Spirituality Centre programs will be accepted.
2) PEI Life Association is holding its annual baby bottle campaign, Change4LIFE, from April 7th to May 12th, to promote LIFE on PEI. Join us in helping advance the beauty of LIFE on PEI. Change4LIFE is one of many ways that PEI Life aims to help the most vulnerable on PEI and make changes for LIFE! There are two ways to support: Online option as an individual or as a team is via: www.PEILIFE.org – click donate, or by taking a bottle from the back of the church. 3) The Holy Redeemer CWL is having a used book table, a new-to-you table, a pre-owned jewelry table, and plant table sale on April 20th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, 3 Pond St., Charlottetown. A draw for a gift basket valued at $200.00 will also be held, with tickets available to purchase for $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free.
4) Medication Basics: Building Immunity and Preserving Health – Come and learn from Pharmacist, Nathan Comeau, about understanding the risks associated with vaccinations and their outcomes as well as overcoming some challenges and promoting vaccine uptake. In addition, he will spend time discussing medication basics, providing tips and tricks and will offer time for questions you may have. This session, at The Living Well, 96 Patterson is on April 10th, 1:30-3:30. A break with a snack is provided. To register email rmd17csm@gmail.com. We are SCENT FREE There is no charge for this session however, you are welcome to bring a food item for our monthly in-house Food Bank.
