Listening, Speaking and Growing Together: You are invited to join us at the Spirituality Centre on Saturday, April 27 from 10am to 3pm to explore Spiritual Conversation as a tool that deepens relationship and community with God. The session will be facilitated by three members of the P.E.I. Local of the Atlantic Association of the Spiritual Exercises Apostolate. Everyone is welcome to attend. Reflections on Aspects of Nature: This session, facilitated by Sister Bernice Steele, will focus on the four elements of the universe: air, water, fire and earth. Hopefully, after sitting quietly with texts and photographs, viewing some short videos and learning from each other, you will never think of these elements in the same way, giving you a deeper appreciation for Earth, our common home. This session, at The Living Well, 96 Patterson, Hillsborough Park (Charlottetown) is on April 17th, 1:30-3:30. A break with a snack is provided. To register email rmd17csm@gmail.com. The PEI Health Coalition invites you to a Public Meeting: “Profiting from Healthcare, What’s the Problem?” at 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 23 in the Lecture Theatre of Colonel Gray High School, 175 Spring Park Road, Charlottetown. Guest Speaker is Dr. Pat Armstrong, distinguished research professor and writer, York University. Dr. Armstrong is very concerned about the way profit seeking companies are taking over so much of our public health delivery. Universal healthcare is a wonderful example of a country practicing together the second great commandment, “Love your neighbour as yourself.”

Pope Francis has reminded us that Saint Francis of Assisi describes Earth, our common home, as a sister with whom we share our life. On Monday April 22, there will be an Earth Day concert at 7:00 pm in the Chapel at The Mount Continuing Care Community (141 Mount Edward Road, Charlottetown). All are welcome. Freewill offerings to support Spirituality Centre programs will be accepted.

PEI Life Association is holding its annual baby bottle campaign, Change4LIFE, from April 7th to May 12th, to promote LIFE on PEI. Join us in helping advance the beauty of LIFE on PEI. Change4LIFE is one of many ways that PEI Life aims to help the most vulnerable on PEI and make changes for LIFE! The Holy Redeemer CWL is having a used book table, a new-to-you table, a pre-owned jewelry table, and plant table sale on April 20th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, 3 Pond St., Charlottetown. A draw for a gift basket valued at $200.00 will also be held, with tickets available to purchase for $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free.
