This week (23-27 September 2024), the Plenary Assembly of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) gather in Beaupré, Quebec, for its annual meeting, bringing together 79 Bishops to deliberate, discern, and discuss the life of the Church in Canada.
Sister Susan Kidd, CND (UPEI) attended a portion of the plenary assembly, representing Canadian Catholic Campus Ministry.
The ongoing Synod on Synodality, the plight of migrants and refugees, and continued efforts to safeguard minors and vulnerable groups from abuse are prominent topics that will be discussed during the Canadian bishops’ 2024 Plenary Assembly in Beaupré, Quebec.
