After getting my haircut on a hot Tuesday afternoon I dropped by the Pastoral Centre on North River Road to pick up the parish mail.
I asked Jennifer if the bishop was in and I was directed to “the Yellow room” at the end of the hall.
The smell of fresh paint indicated some of the work that was underway to brighten up the offices.
I tapped on the door and found Bishop Joe hard at work in his temporary office/work station.
We had a great chat about Communications, web pages, contact with youth and a whole lot of other things.
I was especially taken by the Coffee Mug message “Together on the Journey”. A very appropriate theme for our diocese as we move forward.
