Each year, Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) invites Christians around the world to unite in prayer and awareness through Red Wednesday — a day dedicated to standing in solidarity with those who are persecuted for their faith.
An estimated 327 million Christians live in countries where religious persecution is a daily reality. Many face discrimination, imprisonment, violence, and even death simply because they follow Christ. Red Wednesday shines a light on their suffering and reminds us that, as members of the Body of Christ, we are called to pray, remember, and act on their behalf.
