Navigating and Surviving Eldercare Workshop

February 3, 2026

How do we respond faithfully and effectively to the needs of our aging parents, grandparents, neighbours, and parishioners?

As parents, grandparents, neighbours, and parishioners age, many of us find ourselves asking hard questions. What kinds of support and advocacy are needed? How do we respond well? What role do families and faith communities play?

An upcoming workshop, Navigating and Surviving Eldercare, will help participants explore the roles of family members and faith communities in the eldercare journey.

Mr. Patrick Cassidy, KC, will lead the workshop – which will take place March 3, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. – drawing on his professional expertise and personal experience of workshop leader to address the challenges of navigating and surviving eldercare with compassion and care.

This workshop is available by zoom or on campus at Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax.

Cost: $25 | Free for students
