The Diocese of Charlottetown is sharing information about the Help Not Harm campaign, which encourages Canadians to contact their Member of Parliament in support of Bill C-218.
Bill C-218 is a Private Member’s Bill that would amend the Criminal Code to prevent the planned expansion of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) to include cases where mental illness is the sole underlying condition.
The Help Not Harm campaign website provides a simple tool that allows individuals to send a message directly to their MP in support of this legislation.
