We are saddened to inform you that Fr. Frank Jay passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the age of 71. He was a priest for 40 years and was still serving in the parishes of St. Mary’s-Holy Family (Kensington) and St. James (Summerfield) when he passed. Many will remember him for his love of teaching others about the faith, especially the Scriptures.
He will lie in state at St. Mary’s Holy Family Church Kensington on Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday Morning from 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Members of St. Mary’s Holy Family Knights of Columbus Council # 12465 will hold a prayer service at the church on Friday at 3:45 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s-Holy Family in Kensington on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with interment later in St. Joachim’s Cemetery in Vernon River.
May he rest in peace and the Lord give to him the reward of faithful servants of the Kingdom.
