The Diocese of Charlottetown has been engaged in a time of discernment, looking ahead to a renewed pastoral vision for our diocese. As part of this ongoing process, we are undertaking a review and restructuring of our Diocesan offices to better support our mission and the needs of the faithful across the diocese.
As part of this restructuring, the role of Diocesan Youth Ministry Coordinator – combined with the Campus Ministry position at the University of Prince Edward Island – is being concluded. As a result, Lauren Van Vliet has completed her service with the Diocese as of July 11, 2025.
We are deeply grateful to Lauren for her dedicated and faithful ministry, both within the Diocese and with the Campus Ministry at UPEI. Her steady presence, reliability, and commitment to serving young people have been greatly appreciated over the years.
