The second video from the CCCB Plenary Assembly meeting features Bishop Joseph talking about his work as a member of the Standing Committee for Family and Life.

Caring for families and protecting human life from conception to natural death are at the heart of the mission of the Bishops of Canada.

The dignity of every person, and the family’s unique role as both the source and safeguard of that dignity, form the foundation of the Church’s moral vision for society and of all Catholic social teaching.

To respond effectively to the many needs and opportunities in these areas, the CCCB created the Standing Committee for Family and Life, supported in both official languages by the Office for Family and Life.
