2026 New Year’s Day Bishop’s Levee – sharing gratitude, shared joy and hope

January 6, 2026

Bishop Joseph Dabrowski, CSMA, welcomed guests to his New Year’s Day Levee on January 1, 2026, greeting parishioners, clergy, and friends from across the Diocese during a joyful gathering of fellowship and celebration.

The reception space at SDU Place was filled throughout the event as guests took time to visit with Bishop Joseph reflecting the strong bonds of faith and friendship within our diocesan family.

Refreshments were thoughtfully prepared by caterer Andrew Fish, and guests were warmly served by Ron Dehmel and his wife Donna, whose hospitality contributed greatly to the welcoming atmosphere of the afternoon.

As Bishop Joseph prepares to leave for his new mission in the Diocese of Hamilton, Ontario, the Bishop’s Levee once again provided a meaningful opportunity to begin the New Year together — a time marked by gratitude, shared joy, and hope for the year ahead. The Diocese extends sincere thanks to all who assisted and attended, helping to make this annual tradition a memorable and uplifting start to 2026.
