It is with a sad heart that I must tell you of Father Charlie Cheverie’s death which occurred late Saturday afternoon, August 31.
Fr. Charlie taught generations of students at St. Dunstan’s University and UPEI and was universally loved and respected.
He was a central proponent for the preservation and revival of traditional fiddle playing
Funeral arrangements will be posted when we know the details.
