The Tignish Advent/Christmas Program: Advent/Christmas at Tignish 2018
Advent Penance Service in Kings County: There is a service Dec. 20th at St. Andrew’s, Mount Stewart, service starts at 7:00 pm
St. Dunstan’s annual Christmas concert takes place on Friday, December 21 at 7 pm. Music director Leo Marchildon corrals the PEI Pops and a 50 voice chorus in a performance of Bach’s “Magnificat”, as well as the Island premiere of “Fantasia Noel 2”, the sequel to the popular cantata introduced a few years ago, which takes traditional carols and turns them on their ear for a more contemporary sensibility. Due to fire regulations, seating is limited, and doors will close once 1,000 attendees have been admitted, so be sure to arrive early.
Mass with Children & Christmas Pageant: at St. Mary’s Holy Family, Kensington, Sunday, December 23 starting at 9 AM
