Fr. Walter Gets a Cake (and Shares it with Bishop Joseph)

Sunday, November 5th, Bishop Dabrowski installed Fr. Walter Flynn as Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Alberton during the community’s Eucharist.

Fr. Walter takes the Presidential Chair while Bishop Joseph instructs him on the spiritual duties of a Pastor. Fr. Chris Sheeran. Chancellor of the Diocese assists.

This was also the first opportunity for Bishop Joseph to visit with all of the parishioners that Fr. Flynn serves in Bloomfield, Brae, Foxley River and Glenwood.

Joining the Celebration was Fr. Chris Shereen, the Chancellor of the Diocese.

Bishop Joseph will continue visiting all of our parishes as the weeks and months go by.
