Sunday, July 7 the parishioners of Immaculate Conception Parish in Palmer Road gathered to bid farewell to Fr. Lazaru Panthagani.
In his time here on Prince Edward Island Fr. Lazaru as well as at Palmer Road and Miminegash served in Tignish with Fr. John Molina, St. Mark’s Parish in Burton, St. Anthony’s Parish in Bloomfield, Corpus Christi, Glenwood, Immaculate Conception at The Brae, St. Brigid’s Parish in Foxley River and also as Associate Pastor at St. Paul’s Parish in Summerside.
Fr. Lazaru Panthagani is being reassigned by his bishop to an appointment in another diocese. He will be leaving Prince Edward Island in about 10 days.
We Thank Fr. Lazaru for his years of service to the people of the Diocese, and pray for his continued sucess in the Priesthood where ever Our Lord will lead him.
