Pilgrimage to the Holy Land: Want to experience something of the life of Jesus? Do you want to experience the places that our Lord walked and where He spoke to the people? Join Fr. Andrew Handrahan on a guided pilgrimage to some of Israel’s holy sites. From October 21st-29th, 2020, the pilgrimage will travel to the Holy Land and visit such places as Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, the Mount of Transfiguration, Jerusalem, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Step into the River Jordan where Jesus was baptized, and stand on the hill where Jesus gave his sermon on the mount; walk through the places that our Lord himself walked, and experience the city of Jerusalem as you make the way of the cross which Jesus suffered. A Gentle Reminder re Public Forum: There will be an open forum regarding our welcoming of refugees to Prince Edward Island.  The key-note speaker is well-known author and activist Mary Jo Leddy.  This event is taking place on Saturday, November 16 between 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. at the Murchison Centre in Charlottetown.  All are welcome. St. Malachy”s Church, Kinkora, PEI

St. Simon & St. Jude Parish, Tignish, PEI

St. Simon & St. Jude will host a retreat on Saturday, November 16th at the Tignish Parish Centre.   Open to parishioners from any parish, it will begin at 1 pm and end at 5 pm.  As a Catholic community, we come together in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to hear and reflect upon what God the Father, through the Holy Spirit, is saying to us today.  In order to prepare for this retreat and to register, please call the Tignish Parish office on or before Thursday, November 14th at 902-882-2049.
