Sunday evening, May 21 about 40 priests of the diocese of Charlottetown assembled with Bishop Richard for our annual retreat with Fr. Philip Chircop s.j. our retreat director.

The Spiritual Heart of the Retreat Centre is the tabernacle.
The theme of the week was “To Pray for the Grace to Look at the World with Easter Eyes”. With the location at Bayview there were wonderful things to see.

Martin & Earla Avery and their staff provided breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for us. Everything was hearty, healthy and magnificently presented. On a scale of 1 to 10 the meals were rated a conservative 15. Next year the scale will have to be adjusted to a 1 to 20 range.
The center pieces were from the previous night’s feast.
A hearty plate of pancakes, sausage and fruit with steaming hot black coffee well blessed and enjoyed.
Fr. Phil provided 3 spiritual conferences a day, homilies at all masses and two movies for reflection.

Each day we concelerbrated Mass at 11 AM with Bishop Grecco presiding.
