Sold for a Loonie

October 10, 2017

Money Well Spent & Gracefully Received

Tuesday, October 10, Dianne Young the founder of the Lennon Recovery House Association handed a Loonie to Bishop Richard Grecco of the Diocese of Charlottetown thereby closing the deal on the old Belcourt Retreat Centre in Rustico.

The Diocese of Charlottetown fully supports the efforts of the Lennon Recovery House Association and commends all of the people across PEI who have contributed in so many ways to this most needed project for those who are recovering from Addiction and Mental Illness.

Dianne Young & Bishop Richard Grecco.

The Rustico location served the people of Prince Edward Island in many ways over the years and with dedication, hard work and vision will save many lives in the years to come.

Dianne along with other members of the Board of Directors are making presentations to the clergy and pastoral workers in all of the Zones of the diocese this month. We expect that as the message of Lennon House spreads, many people will find creative ways to support this place of hope.
