The Grade 6 Catechism Class from St. Dunstan’s Basilica Parish would like to thank parishioners for their kindness and generosity during our 1st Lenten Food Drive project.
During the weeks of Lent you donated over 365 items of food and personal care products that will be given to very deserving charities.
We also want to thank the volunteers who took time out of their weekend to help us sort, box, and deliver items to the UPEI Student Food Bank.
Items were also gratefully received by the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Anderson House.
We were also able to make a shepherd’s pie dinner and deliver it to a parishioner that is recovering from surgery and bring cat food to her cherished cat, “Cuddles”.
Through almsgiving, your act of solidarity with those struggling in our community will make a difference in the lives of so many people!
