Dear Fathers:
We have received news that Fr. Frank Bolger died this afternoon (Thursday, September 28, 2017).
Born in Stanley Bridge, PEI, on July 8, 1925 Fr. Francis W. P. Bolger was ordained on June 10, 1951 served generations at St Dunstan’s University as Professor of History (1959-1969) and UPEI from (1969 -1994).
He was also Chaplain of the Air Force Reserves and in the Royal Air Force of Canada.
Funeral arrangements are still being planned.
In accordance with the policy of the Presbyteral Council of the Diocese of Charlottetown, you are asked to celebrate at least three masses for the repose of the Soul of Father Frank.
May his soul rest in Peace.
