Applications are currently being invited for the part-time (20 hrs./week) position of Diocesan Youth Ministry Coordinator.  This position will be operational primarily for ten months each year from September 1 – June 30. (Note: Some variance in this timeframe is possible given a special event, e.g. World Youth Day).

To facilitate effective planning for the coming Fall (2013), the successful candidate will be asked to commit a number of days in May and June of this year.  A principal focus during this two month period will be to help create and meet with a new Youth Ministry Advisory Council.

The application should consist of the following:

  • Certification in youth ministry or equivalent
  • A letter highlighting the reasons for one’s interest in the position and the skills/talents that one would bring to the position
  • A resume of your relevant work and academic qualifications
  • Two personal/professional references with their current contact information (phone # and e-mail address) e.g. pastor, supervisor, teacher

The deadline for receiving applications is Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 4:30 p.m.  Applications are to be delivered to the Diocesan Centre at 350 North River Road, in Charlottetown, PE C1A 8T9.  Please note: no electronic applications will be accepted.  Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and negotiated with the incumbent.
