All are invited to an advent retreat that will take place at the Marguerite Bourgeoys Centre at 284 Convent St. in Summerside.
The retreat will start on the 3rdof December and end on the 10th of December.
The opening session on Sunday, 3rdDecember, will be held in the afternoon, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Centre.
At this meeting the retreatants will be given information on how to proceed throughout the following 6 week days of the retreat.
The concluding meeting for the retreat will take place on the following Sunday, 10th December, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Centre.
During the week days the retreatants will be at their home and asked to spend a short period of time in prayerful meditation with the Prayer Exercises that will be given at the opening session. The primary purpose of the retreat is to remember, experience, and express love. In the words of St. Ignatius of Loyola, “to desire an interior knowledge of all the good I have received, so that acknowledging this with gratitude, I may be able to love and serve his Divine Majesty in everything”.
The facilitators for the retreat are; Julia Donahoe-MacDougald and Gilles Michaud.
